Microsoft 365 July 2026 Price Increase

Microsoft is updating commercial Microsoft 365 list prices effective July 1, 2026. New rates apply at your next renewal on or after that date — not automatically on July 1 for every tenant.

If your organization is in Thailand or Singapore, this guide shows what you pay today through M365 Deals (CSP), what changes from July 2026, and how much you can save by renewing before the deadline.

Pricing note: Figures below are annual-commit, per-user-per-month rates (with Microsoft Teams), based on our CSP catalog as of June 2026 and Microsoft's published July 2026 list-price changes. GST (Singapore) and VAT (Thailand) are extra. See live pricing.

TL;DR

  • Business Basic and Business Standard increase (~16% and 12% globally); Business Premium list price is unchanged
  • Enterprise E3 and E5 rise modestly (~8% and 5%); Frontline F1/F3 see larger increases
  • Renew before July 1, 2026 to lock current CSP pricing for your next 12-month term
  • Singapore: Office 365 E3 rises; E1 list price unchanged
  • Thailand: Frontline F1/F3 affected; Enterprise available in THB

Why is Microsoft raising prices?

Microsoft cites two main drivers:

  1. AI investment — expanded Copilot Chat, analytics, and security Copilot capabilities bundled into suites
  2. Infrastructure — global data-centre and security platform scale

Several plans also gain +50 GB mailbox storage, Defender features, and Copilot enhancements at the new price points — so compare value, not just the percentage.

Business Premium unchanged: Standard rises from US$11 → US$347 (TH) and S$17.00 → S$19.04 (SG), while Premium stays at US$20 / S$27.50. For teams needing Intune and Defender, the Standard → Premium gap narrows — worth reviewing before renewal.

If your CSP agreement ends after August 2026 but you renew before July 1, you still lock in current pricing for the next 12 months.

What to do now

Do

  1. Check your renewal date — Microsoft 365 admin center → Billing → Your products
  2. Model the new cost — use the tables above with your seat count
  3. Contact your CSP partner to renew or add seats before July 1
  4. Review plan fit — especially Standard vs Premium while Premium list price is flat

Avoid

  • Waiting until the last week of June — partners see a renewal rush before July
  • Downgrading without a feature audit — mail, Teams, and compliance needs may not shrink with headcount
  • Cancelling and rebuying — use a proper renewal or migration path to avoid downtime

FAQ

Does the new price include VAT or GST?

No. Thailand CSP quotes are typically before VAT 7%. Singapore business pricing is usually before GST 9% — we issue proper tax invoices in both markets.

Can I renew early if my contract ends in August?

Yes. Early renewal before July 1, 2026 locks current CSP rates for your next annual term.

Is Business Premium going up?

No — Microsoft list price for Business Premium is unchanged. Basic and Standard increase.

Are Frontline F1 and F3 affected?

Yes — Frontline SKUs see among the largest increases globally. Thailand Frontline customers should confirm exact THB with us before budgeting.

Can we reduce the impact?

  1. Renew before July 1 — keep current pricing for 12 months
  2. Volume pricing — as a Microsoft CSP partner we can request volume discounts for larger deployments
